Jackson a été fondée en 1980 dans le sud de la Californie. C’est la première marque à s’être intéressée aux besoins des virtuoses du hard rock et du metal, et à leur avoir proposé des instruments aux caractéristiques axées sur la rapidité de jeu extrême.
Jackson n’a cessé de révolutionner ses guitares hautes performances depuis 40 ans, tout en dominant la scène metal avec ses modèles orientés shred. La toute nouvelle série American ouvre un chapitre inédit dans l’histoire de Jackson, car c’est la première à proposer des produits haut de gamme fabriqués à Corona.

MANCHE TRAVERSANT CONSTITUÉ DE TROIS MORCEAUX D’ÉRABLE
La construction traversante est le sceau de Jackson depuis 1980. Elle facilite le jeu, produit un timbre plus chaleureux et accroît le sustain. Cette méthode de fabrication consiste à prolonger les trois morceaux d’érable utilisés pour le manche tout le long du corps de la guitare. Les renforts en graphite entourant la tige de réglage du manche accroissent la stabilité de ce dernier, afin que l’instrument puisse résister aux aléas des tournées.
FRETTES JUMBO EN ACIER INOXYDABLE
Les frettes en acier inoxydable sont significativement plus robustes et lisses que les traditionnels modèles en maillechort. Elles sont particulièrement résistantes et douces au toucher. Vous pourrez ainsi réaliser des bendings sans le moindre effort.
